Fees on Obscura

Gas Fees

  • Creating a new wallet costs approximately 0.2 USD in gas fees.

  • Each deposit, withdrawal, or transfer operation costs around 0.3 USD.

  • For users running their own relayer in Super-Relayer Mode, order placements and cancellations are instant and do not incur any gas fees.

Protocol Fees

  • Obscura charges an in-protocol fee of 2 basis points (0.02%) for every successful trade match.

  • If you operate your own relayer, this is the only fee you pay.

  • For traders using a public relayer, the relayer operator may impose an additional fee. For example, the default public relayer charges an extra 2 basis points, resulting in a total fee of 4 basis points (0.04%) per trade.

Obscura's fee structure ensures fairness and transparency while keeping costs low for traders, especially those who choose to run their own relayer.
